OPEN MIC is a great chance to be able to come, experience and listen to some of the best musicians that play here at Gamuso's Open Mic., A wide variety of musicians including Cello & Violin, Keyboard players, as well as amazing acoustic artists, full bands. and even if you are a singer and have backing tracks on your phone or computer, you TOO can perform at Gamuso's open mic.
If you are a musician wanting to get your music heard or just want to join in with like minded music lovers, why not come and enjoy some real stage time.
Our stage is equipped with a full set up of guitar amps, bass amps, drums etc, and our PA has bluetooth capability so artists can even sing to backing tracks.

I can't recommend coming out to see them enough, and with no entrance free, (please give them a tip if you can), there's little reason not to.

Gamuso has teamed up with Sen City and will be hosting the first first Sen City at Gamuso event. Great musicians are a plenty and it promises to be a a must see. Also, it's a free entry event so come a see for yourself with no charge, just buy a drink.

Gamuso is hosting a special live music night featuring an all-artist jam session. Musicians such as MIK-TOK MICKEYPOP, KIMPERI (KR), and CREAM WITH A K will contribute their unique sounds to create a delectable musical experience. The event kicks off at 19:30, and a one-drink minimum purchase is required. Guests are encouraged to tip the performers.

MOVIE NIGHT

Gamuso is set to host a movie night, marking the first of two such events this month featuring a film by Yuriko Dravarious and Duncan Whom. This event is a revival of a series Gamuso previously held before its closure and subsequent reopening under new management. We are thrilled to welcome back this showcase film produced on a modest budget. For enthusiasts of diverse cinematic genres, this event is a must.

Art From The Soul Event

Right now Gamuso is exhibiting fine art from the the very skilled artist Adam Garwood, and Adam Garwood will be having a big event so you guys can come and see his work as well as see acts such as TOKYO CELTS, ANTHONY H, KOJI, as well as ADAM3 and DJ PHIL SO GOOD on the decks. EDOWAVE 2024

Gamuso has been given the privilage to host the Vaiwatt EDOWAVE 2024 after party. This event is MASSIVE, and gets bigger every year and is held at Shinjuku Loft. It is a must see and Gamuso will be closed on Sunday evening because we want to support our friends. However, why not come and join the party this coming Wednesday with DJ'S and a lot of fun.

CATCHY CLAWS VIDEO SHOOT

This Sunday, Catchy Claws will be shooting a video for their brand new song here at Gamuso. if you wish to be part of this video, Catchy Claws are looking for 15 extras to be part of the audience and other roles. Although shooting starts at 10:30, come for around 11:00 and receive a beer as a gift of appreciation from the band and get yourself stamped into this cool band's music video.

International Party is back with vol 7 and as always the food is going to be exquisite with this month's delicious dishes being Greek themed. Vaiwatt are going to be holding the party of all parties this coming Saturday @Gamuso Asagaya. It's been 11 years since they first rocked up and thrilled the Gamuso crowd with their unique punk style music. Since then, they have travelled the world singing at venues and festivals quite literally singing to thousands. So we are so pleased that they still regard Gamuso as home.

International Party vol 5 is going to be BIGGER, BRIGHTER, BETTER than vol 4, and that is going to be difficult as the last one was LARGE. However, the organizers are pulling all the stops to get the food, entertainment and the laughs out in full.

PLYGROUND TOKYO JAPAN

Pintig Productions is hosting its inaugural event at Gamuso, which is shaping up to be a major occasion, already featured in the Tokyo Weekender. Notable acts like Joanna, Otoshik, His & Her Circumstances, BODO TENGOKU, and Gamuso's beloved Aztec Brides will perform before an anticipated full house. Additionally, the esteemed tattoo artist Nat Ancheta will be providing live tattooing, allowing attendees to witness the creation of lifelong art. Authentic Filipino Pulutan (bar snacks) and Filipino beer will be available, offering a genuine Filipino experience.

Asagaya's legendary bar NIGHT TRAIN will be collaborating with us for this unique event which will take place over 4 different venues across Tokyo, and we are thrilled to have been selected as one of them, and also to be partnering with our friends NIGHT TRAIN.
